Thanks for sharing and I love this article. I think it is because of the prevailing visual/conceptual/styling work that claimed to be UX that creates so much confusion among outsiders and thus I have encountered multiple times in my career as a UX designer people just show me those flashy designs and expect me to "copy" similar effect, or expect me to start designing in Sketch as the first step of my work. I feel on a system level, we as designers have the responsibility to point out at the very least these are not UX works, no matter how people say "IG is not intended for showing UX process anyways", if we don't want UX design to reduce to just visual styling.
